If potential adopter rents or lives at home, we must have approval from landlord or homeowner/s.
We cannot adopt to College Students
We do not adopt to Breeders, People on our "black list" or those looking for a Guard Dog.
A potential adopter must fill out an Adoption Questionnaire and be interviewed in person by our staff. There are no exceptions.
Completing the Adoption Questionnaire does not automatically ensure that an adoption will be approved. The St. Lawrence Valley SPCA reserveS the right to refuse an adoption application.
